Robert Mankin is partner in charge of workplace design at NBBJ, named by Wired magazine as the architecture firm of choice for technology companies, and one of the world’s most innovative corporations by Fast Company magazine. With decades of experience practicing architecture in Asia, Europe and North America, Robert oversees NBBJ’s corporate design practice, which has designed headquarters and offices for Samsung, Tencent, Alibaba, Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks and Boeing. His recent projects include Samsung’s North America Headquarters in the United States, the Samsung R5 Research Building in Suwon and a headquarters for NHN in Bundang. His work has been published by Bloomberg, the South China Morning Post, CNN, China Daily, NBC News, the Los Angeles Times, Architectural Record and Stadia.
