Alison is lead portfolio manager in the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. She is head of QIS in Asia Pacific Ex- Japan, focused on bringing differentiated global investment strategies to institutional, private wealth and third party clients in the region. Previously, Alison was head of the Asset Management Department of Beijing Gao Hua Securities Company Limited, a strategic partner of Goldman Sachs in China, and was based in Beijing for six years. Prior to relocating to Asia, she was a member of QIS Equity Alpha portfolio management in New York for nine years. Alison joined Goldman Sachs in 2002 and was named managing director in 2011. Alison earned an MEng in FinancialEngineering in 2002 and a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering in 2001 from Cornell University. She is a CFA charterholder.
