Anthony Riemann is the International Director of Strategy and Urban Mobility at General Motors (GM), one of the world’s largest automotive companies. He leads an innovative team in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions working on demand driven initiatives to fast-track mobility services and technology across four strategic pillars: connectivity, sharing, electrification and autonomous driving.
Earlier this year, Anthony was responsible for deploying GM’s on-demand mobility services brand, Maven, in Australia and has overseen its growth across the country.
Anthony’s professional background is in Information Technology and Management where he has spent more than 10 years across a number of operational and strategic roles for GM, including a 2 years assignment in Seoul where he led the deployment of global IT systems across GM’s International manufacturing sites.
He has also held various key strategy and planning roles including Chief of Staff to Holden’s Managing Director in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to GM, Anthony spent many years in the hospitality industry working for the Accor Hotel group. Anthony holds a MBA, Bachelor of Computer and Information Science and Bachelor of Management from the University of South Australia, plus some other qualifications in Business and Project Management.
